Spirit League is a Game-Changer for Neurodiverse, Autistic & Developmentally Disabled Athletes
Every parent wants their child to live a meaningful life. For parents of children with support needs, that dream can feel downright unattainable.
Officially, Spirit League is a year-round, coed, team sports non-profit organization serving over 600 youths and adults with developmental disabilities throughout Orange County. But that's just the beginning of our story of service.
No other sports program for this population of athletes is like Spirit League, providing life-altering connections and camaraderie on the field of play to a historically under-supported population. While building confidence, social skills, and a sense of personal pride has always been at the heart of Spirit League, our program has evolved to offer much more than athletic drills and game days.
We provide a wealth of gathered knowledge and specialized training not found elsewhere. The combination of professional staff, trained coaches and knowledgeable volunteers results in a rich program that connects our athletes and their families with valuable resources, crucial life skills, and a community of caring people.
