These are the hallmarks of Spirit League, a one-of-a-kind sports organization bringing 600+ special needs athletes together on the fields of play. We offer year-round, multi-sport seasons of connection, camaraderie, and confidence-building for Southern California’s children and young adults from across the spectrum. At Spirit League, athletes and their families find the professional support and life skills development so rarely available to them.
Building athlete confidence is at the very heart of Spirit League. But we’ve developed over 22 years to be much more impactful than just game days and practice drills. Our staff, coaches, and volunteers bring a wealth of expertise not found elsewhere. The result is a program connecting special needs athletes with a tribe of empathetic, experienced professionals and parents. In 2025/26, the League will further tap into this community of hope to offer families above-and-beyond services, supports, and events extending well past the courts and ball fields.
The goal in 2026 is to recruit even more athletes from under-served, under-supported areas of Southern California. Through athlete scholarships, donations, and community partnerships, the League can suit up even more athletes with unique needs from financially challenged homes and marginalized communities throughout SoCal.
